We met like most young people these days, in the winter of 2002. From a friend of a friend over a movie and a few drinks.
He smiled, said hello, and then sat on my lap. We had a laugh or two at that and then pretended to enjoy the movie. One
thing led to another and we've been pretty much attatched at the hip (or the lip) every since, even now almost 4 years later.
A few weeks into our new relationship I was delighted to learn that David was blessed with a daughter from a previous relationship,
just as I had a son from a previous relationship, their ages just barely 5 months apart.
We've had our ups and downs like most couples and even had a period of seperation while David attended college in Moscow.
But through it all, our relationship steadily grew stronger just as our family grows larger. We are expecting a baby quite
literally any day now...
Almost time

Chrysteen Lenore Buford
You know, every time I meet someone new, they ask what I do... Were do you work? Where did you go to school? Do you have
a degree in anything? And I have to say, that there was a time that I felt a little frusterated at these questions. The
reason being, is because most of the answers are no... No, I'm not working right now. No, I'm not going to college, I did
however graduate from high school with close to a 4.0. So, no... No degree in anything... At one point in time, all of these
no's made me feel inferior to others, made me feel as if I wasn't good enough. But now I'd have to say that even though I
haven't accomplished those particular feats in my life, there is so much more that I have accomplished... So much more...
in my children.
My son is 4 years old. He was walking at 9 months old. He was speaking complete sentences by the time he was one year
old. He has better manners than any child I have ever met and has the vocabulary of a 6 year old. These are my accomplishments...
This is what I do. I raise my children. Tristan is amazing, Natalie is wonderful and our new baby will be just as fantastic
as the two of them... So if you'd like to know what it is that I do, I will proudly tell you. I am a mother and a wife and
a housekeeper and a peacekeeper. And while I may not have your regular 8 hour a day job that pays more than minimum wage,
I enjoy every minute of it and the pay that I get is worth more than all the money in the world.

Tristan and Natalie
It's crazy how well the two kids get along together. Being that Natalie is 5 months younger than Tristan, at first Tristan
couldn't understand why Natalie wasn't talking very much. Natalie was about 7 months old and Tristan 1 year. After the two
of them started spending more time together the language barrier lifted and the house became much louder.
Tristan was born on October 10th 2000 and Natalie was born on March 15th 2001. Click on the individual pictures and you'll
be taken to the same page with many pictures as well as more extensive biographies of the two children.
I'll be able to put most of the kid's pictures up within the next couple of days. I'll also be able to get Tristans biography
done. Natalies will probably take a week or two as I'll have to gather some more information from her mother regaurding the
story of her birth and anything else we haven't had the pleasure of experiencing with her considering we only get to have
her on the weekends.
